Department to launch Ngaka Modiri Molema District
Municipality Community Safety Forum (CSF) in Mahikeng The Department of Community Safety and Transport Management will launch the Ngaka Modiri Molema Community Safety Forum( CFS) in Mahikeng. The National Policy on CSF mandates all Provincial Departments of Public Safety to establish CSFs within Districts and Local Municipalities. These forums are meant to facilitate the delivery of multi-sectoral Governmental approach of safety in all communities. The aim of the forum is to deal with broader issues related to crime and have more inclusive jurisdiction. The approach of the CSF's is, in essence, much more broader than that of the Community Police Forum(CPF). CSF's includes are able to engage on the responses from all the Departments in the Justice Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) cluster and craft the way forward.
